Responsibilities
  • Be fully conversant with all aspects of payroll legislation including SMP, SPP, ShPP, SSP, PAYE, pensions and NI, ensuring HR policies are applied correctly.
  • Record and process payroll accurately in ADP, ensuring paperwork is available and properly authorised.
  • Process payroll deductions and notify relevant parties (pensions, employee donations, Bupa, Healthshield, union subscriptions, etc.).
  • Provide cover for the Payroll & Pensions Manager when absent.
