Our client based in B4 Birmingham is looking for a temporary handyman.
Working hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7 hours per day
- Friday: 6 hours (09:00 - 16:30)
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Temporary position from Monday 22 June - Friday 4 September.
Main duties include:
- Acting as an initial response to notifications of repairs, assessing and repairing where possible.
- Undertaking minor maintenance and repairs.
- Ensuring that the refuse and recycling facilities are clean and clear on a daily basis.
- Moving furniture/white goods when required.
- Keeping all stock rooms clean, tidy, and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Performing cleaning duties as required, for example, floods or spillages within the accommodation.
- Accompanying the Accommodation Manager/any Staff or Contractors on any inspections as requested.
- Performing weekly fire bell testing and assisting in evacuation drills.
- Undertaking any other duties commensurate with the grading of the post as may be required from time to time.
