As the UK & Ireland Commercial CTO, you will play a pivotal role at the heart of the One Lenovo transformation. You will connect business strategy with technical excellence, bringing together sales, solutioning, and innovation to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and drive sustainable growth.
This is a completely new highly visible leadership role where your ability to influence, simplify, and execute will define success across the UK&I market. This is a commercial, customer-facing CTO role focused on driving growth through technology strategy, solutioning, and innovation, rather than product engineering or internal IT. The core role is growing solution-led revenue, increasing win rates & enabling cross-portfolio selling. In this role, you will expand influence beyond the direct team.
Main Responsibilities- Define and lead the end-to-end commercial technology strategy across the UK & Ireland market.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to translate customer demand into scalable, solution-led growth opportunities.
- Lead a team of approximately 10+ people in technical sales, solutioning and pre-sales across business groups.
- Lead capability development by identifying skill gaps and enabling hiring, reskilling, and growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior customers and partners, engaging at C-level to shape transformation agendas.
- Establish a strong operating rhythm across account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Champion adoption of AI tools and digital solutions to improve productivity and sales effectiveness.
- 10+ years of experience in the technology sector, including senior technology leadership role within a large IT vendor or similar organization.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience aligning technology strategy to revenue growth.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise technology solutions and go-to-market models.
- Establish a market-leading commercial CTO function that accelerates One Lenovo by driving solution-led growth, improving win rates, and embedding AI-enabled selling across the UK&I business.
- Create seamless alignment between sales, technology, and partners, enabling a consistent, customer-centric value proposition that unlocks cross-portfolio growth.
