Responsibilities
- Collect the children from their local school and nursery, and support them through their after-school routine, including preparing snacks, engaging in playtime, supporting reading and homework, assisting with mealtimes, and helping with bedtime.
- The children enjoy arts and crafts, imaginative play, and spending time outdoors. A nanny who is enthusiastic, creative, and happy to get involved in these activities would be a wonderful fit.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a nanny
- Level 3 Childcare qualification
- 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and Enhanced DBS (current)
- Full clean driving licence and access to a fully insured vehicle (duty mileage paid); confident driver required.
Working Hours & Compensation
- Location: Colchester, Essex
- Hours: Monday and Friday 2:45pm – 6:30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 2:45pm – 7:30pm
- Days required: Monday – Friday
- Job Start Date: As soon as possible
- Job End Date: September 2026
- Pay: £18.00 gross per hour (£8,993.00 approximate total for this temporary engagement)
