Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established and friendly law firm based in Yarm, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent job offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with excellent working hours (9am-5pm), a relaxed office culture, and a supportive conveyancing team. Role Responsibilities
- Providing essential support to a team of experienced fee-earners across a busy residential property caseload.
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to conveyancers.
- Handling digital dictation, post-completion work, and Land Registry registrations.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors to provide timely case updates.
- Preparing documents and correspondence with accuracy and professionalism.
- Working alongside a wider team of assistants to ensure smooth transaction progression.
Person Specification
- At least 2 years' experience in residential conveyancing.
- Familiarity with a variety of transactions including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, remortgage, sale, and purchase.
