Windmill Nursery School is looking for a qualified and experienced Nursery Manager to cover maternity leave for 12 months, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary is £16.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

About you:
- You are a Level 3 or above qualified Nursery Manager who leads by example and inspires others.
- You support and encourage the natural curiosity of young children while motivating your team.
- You have a nurturing openness and care about education standards for young children in the UK.
What you'll be doing:
- Being an intrinsic part of the nursery management team, ensuring the setting has the right staff, culture, policies, and resources.
- Identifying areas for improvement in learning and teaching techniques.
- Embracing inclusivity to meet the individual needs of all children.
- Encouraging a love of learning through high-quality teaching under the EYFS framework.
- Leading, motivating, and inspiring educators, managing staff ratios, attracting new hires, and providing development opportunities.
- Deputising for the Nursery Manager during their absence.
What you'll need:
- A full and relevant Early Years Education qualification Level 3 or above or equivalent.
- Experience in a managerial role including nursery administration or similar.
- A strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Demonstrable leadership qualities, ideally within Early Years.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
