We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified scientific graduate to join the Alliance Medical Radiopharmacy (AMR) Graduate Scheme within one of our Radiopharmaceutical Production Units (RPUs). This 2 year programme will provide extensive experience in radiopharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive training as a Production Radiochemist or a QC Radiochemist.
- Learn to operate cyclotrons and manufacture radiopharmaceuticals in a GMP environment when placed in the Production team.
- Perform analytical testing of radiopharmaceuticals using a wide range of techniques when placed in the QC team.
- Participate in GMP, radiation safety, and Quality Management Systems training.
- Work unsocial hours and shift schedules; 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in a scientific discipline.
- Graduated within the last 12 months or expected to graduate by the end of the academic year.
- Strong interest in radiopharmacy and willingness to undertake training in a GMP setting.
