We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified scientific graduate to join the Alliance Medical Radiopharmacy (AMR) Graduate Scheme within one of our Radiopharmaceutical Production Units (RPUs). This 2 year programme will provide extensive experience in radiopharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive training as a Production Radiochemist or a QC Radiochemist.
  • Learn to operate cyclotrons and manufacture radiopharmaceuticals in a GMP environment when placed in the Production team.
  • Perform analytical testing of radiopharmaceuticals using a wide range of techniques when placed in the QC team.
  • Participate in GMP, radiation safety, and Quality Management Systems training.
  • Work unsocial hours and shift schedules; 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in a scientific discipline.
  • Graduated within the last 12 months or expected to graduate by the end of the academic year.
  • Strong interest in radiopharmacy and willingness to undertake training in a GMP setting.
