Our client is a Big 4 powerhouse with a market leading reputation in Real Assets tax across the UK, Europe and globally. Following major legislative changes impacting Real Assets taxation, demand for their services is growing rapidly. As part of the Financial Investors Group, the Real Assets Tax Compliance team works closely with transactions and advisory colleagues to deliver end to end solutions combining compliance, technology, and technical expertise. This is a chance to join a prestigious and fast growing practice in Manchester, with direct access to Partners and Directors.
Your new role
As an Associate Director, you will take a senior role in managing client relationships and delivering compliance and reporting solutions for some of the world’s leading Real Assets investors. Working with UK and global teams, you will drive quality, efficiency, and innovation in the way Real Assets clients meet their tax obligations. You will also support Partners and Directors in growing the client base, developing proposals, and deepening relationships with existing clients.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a large portfolio of Real Assets clients, delegating across onshore and offshore teams
- Advising on the impact of new legislation on Real Assets investors
- Responding to HMRC enquiries
- Leading the transformation of annual compliance and reporting processes through technology and process improvements
- Managing client accounts and ensuring effective delivery
- Coaching and developing team members while sharing expertise across the practice
To be successful in this role
- Strong track record in UK corporate tax (industry or professional services)
- Knowledge of regulated and alternative fund structures and their taxation
- Proven ability to manage large client portfolios and complex deliverables
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
- Motivation to advance your career in Real Assets Tax Compliance
- ACA/CTA (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
