Role Definition

You will provide a key role in the support of the planning function. You will have a strong understanding of the overall department to include Stores, Dry Goods and Purchasing. The core elements of the role are customer service, forecasting and planning control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for producing efficient daily production plans in response to customer orders and forecasts, ensuring 100% order fulfilment.
  • Using the in-house planning tool and associated factory systems to process incoming orders, to be ready for picking and amending daily production plans in response to received orders.
  • Responsible for planning and managing finished pack inventories, production scheduling, production batch control and raw material allocation to production.
  • Process and validate daily customer orders.
  • Prepare and maintain a rolling 7 day production plan in line with order forecasts.
  • Plan WIP production to meet finished pack requirements.
  • Responsible for daily management of finished stock at third party warehouse.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies to resolution.
  • Review and action low code stock.
  • Key point of contact between Production and Despatch, communicate planning detail to each department as required.
  • Maintain production batches within the factory system.
  • Review risk raw material on a daily basis and work closely with raw material planning team.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to delegate effectively when required.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, demonstrating flexibility towards changing business demands.
  • Proactive, dynamic and motivational with the ability to deliver results in a fast paced, pressurised environment.
  • Understanding of environmental requirements and responsibilities.

Pay & Shift Pattern

Negotiable, 40 hours per week.
