Key responsibilities:
- Provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to senior management, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Act as a key communication link between internal teams, senior leaders and external stakeholders, handling enquiries professionally.
- Manage complex diaries, arranging and prioritising meetings and appointments efficiently.
- Prepare high‑quality correspondence, reports, presentations and meeting documentation.
- Organise and attend meetings, including minute taking and timely distribution of notes and actions.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and manage data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies.
- Support a range of administrative processes, including HR systems, recruitment activity and performance reporting.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
- HNC or SVQ3 in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy and varied workload.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience of diary management, minute‑taking, and producing high‑quality documents and reports.
- Ability to work independently using initiative while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
