Ibroxholm Medical Centre, 532 Paisley Road West, Glasgow G51 1RN

We are a small, friendly EMIS/DOCMAN GP practice located on the south side of Glasgow and are looking to recruit a Part Time Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team.

Core hours

  • Monday: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Applicants must also be flexible to provide additional cover for staff sickness and annual leave when required.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and handling enquiries in person and by telephone
  • Booking and managing appointments
  • Processing prescriptions and handling medical correspondence
  • General administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Friendly, professional, and patient focused approach
  • Flexibility to provide additional cover when needed
