We are a small, friendly EMIS/DOCMAN GP practice located on the south side of Glasgow and are looking to recruit a Part Time Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team.
Core hours
- Monday: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Tuesday: 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Wednesday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Applicants must also be flexible to provide additional cover for staff sickness and annual leave when required.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and handling enquiries in person and by telephone
- Booking and managing appointments
- Processing prescriptions and handling medical correspondence
- General administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
Requirements
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Friendly, professional, and patient focused approach
- Flexibility to provide additional cover when needed
