Are you keeping an eye on the market and interested in joining a rapidly growing specialist facilities management business that has a turnover exceeding £20 million? Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a growing specialist contractor which works on a range of facilities management organizations based in the Glasgow region, to recruit their new HSEQ Manager. This role will be responsible for the provision of professional advice on all HSEQ related matters. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the business consistently adheres to the highest standards across the field of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a safety‑first culture across UK offices and depots, while developing and implementing the business health and safety strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, including managing policies, training, and risk assessments.
  • Advise on best practices and trends to future‑proof solutions.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures, conduct internal audits, and ensure all accidents are documented, investigated, and improved upon.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar SHEQ position.
  • NEBOSH Certificate (essential) or NEBOSH Diploma (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
