Our Graduate Apprenticeship Programme in Glasgow is designed to start your career in accounting. The programme enables you to gain a degree, a Chartered Accountancy qualification, and five years of hands-on experience while earning a competitive salary. Successful candidates will join this year's cohort starting in August 2026. A comprehensive support network is on hand to help you succeed every step of the way.
By the end of the programme, you will have achieved:
- An Honours degree in Accountancy and Finance from Robert Gordon University
- A Chartered Accountant qualification with ICAS
- Five years of hands-on experience in a global finance team
- A guaranteed full-time role with one of the world's largest insurance brokers
Your Learning Programme:
- Duration: 5 years
- Years 1-3: Study for your BA (Hons) Accounting with Robert Gordon University
- Years 4-5: Work toward your Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with ICAS
- Study Support:
- 1 protected study day per week
- Approximately 4 days per year on campus in Aberdeen (costs covered for travel, accommodation and meals)
- A dedicated mentor to guide and support you throughout the programme
How you'll make an impact:
From the moment you join, you'll be part of our Global Accounting Centre, a team of over 300 professionals supporting our worldwide business. You'll work alongside experienced finance colleagues who are committed to helping you succeed. Throughout the five-year programme, you'll rotate across different finance teams, gaining a broad and invaluable understanding of how finance operates in a large global organisation. You'll contribute to producing accurate financial reports, preparing accounting entries, and solving real-world challenges. Each experience will deepen your understanding of accounting processes, policies and governance while providing you with the platform to apply what you learn at university directly to your work.

The Scottish Government fully funds this programme through the Scottish Funding Council and SAAS. These opportunities are available for eligible candidates. The programme will start in August 2026.
