The predicted salary is between 13.47 - 13.47 £ per hour.

£13.47 per hour plus benefits - Part time 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 10am-2pm

What you'll do:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
  • Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
  • Ensure the funeral home is always clean, safe and welcoming, maintaining a professional environment and reporting maintenance issues.
  • Accurately manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing using digital systems and devices.
  • Refer regulated work, such as selling and informing clients about funeral plans, to the Funeral Plan Arrangers.
  • Assist in the manual handling of coffins and the preparation of the deceased, including viewing preparation (hair, make-up, etc.).
  • Update client management applications, entering accurate and timely information to keep records up to date.

What you'll bring:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to handle basic numbers and calculations, including cash handling and invoicing.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory policies and processes.
  • IT proficiency, comfortable using computers, tablets and smartphones, and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Passion for delivering excellent service and building relationships.
  • High levels of empathy, discretion and care.
  • Physical ability to move coffins in preparation for family viewings, with training and equipment provided to ensure safe practices.
