Job Purpose
Lead the global strategy and execution of the global health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to demonstrate the value of Kyowa Kirin's bone and mineral products, including the generation of real‑world evidence, patient‑reported outcome (PRO) data and health economic modelling to include in Global Value Dossier and support global Health Technology Assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and accountable for the strategic direction, design, and execution of global HEOR studies demonstrating the value of Kyowa Kirin's bone and mineral portfolio, in alignment with Franchise and Medical Affairs strategy.
- Lead the global bone and mineral HEOR team ensuring timely and robust execution of HEOR studies.
- Lead the strategy development and execution of the global HEOR evidence dissemination plan, including development of manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals and congress publications.
- Develop a strong working relationship with cross‑functional teams (including value & access, medical affairs, marketing, regulatory affairs, and clinical development), representing the global HEOR function and collaborate effectively with external pharma and other partners.
- Establish evidence generation requirements to support business needs through continuous cross‑functional communication, and insights gathering.
- Support reimbursement and market access for Kyowa Kirin's product portfolio, providing strategic input on the use of clinical/real‑world evidence and economic modelling to demonstrate value to payers and HCPs.
- Provide line management, mentorship and coaching of global HEOR professionals within the bone and mineral team.
Position Requirements
- Significant experience in health economics and outcomes research within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
- Master's degree or higher in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in real‑world study design, data interpretation, statistical analysis, and health economic modelling.
- Proven track record of developing and leading global HEOR strategies to support product approvals, market access, and reimbursement, taking accountability for results.
- High level of commercial awareness and strategic thinking skills.
- Substantial experience operating in a cross‑functional environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences in a professional manner.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to operate as lead in cross‑functional teams and influence decision making.
- In‑depth knowledge of payer and regulatory landscape related to HEOR.
- Ability to travel domestic and internationally.
