We have an opportunity for a General Manager to take day to day control of a leading print group. We are looking for a star candidate who can drive the effective strategic management and direction of the business. You will oversee all activities i.e. sales, commercial, business development, production and supply chain.
We are looking for a driven individual with bags of experience in the printing industry. Your role will be to guide and direct each department, ensuring organisational goals are met. Due to the nature of this role’s objectives, our client is looking for candidates who have come up the sales route rather than being from a production background.
You will ensure effective operations by monitoring results, comparing actual performance to established standards and taking appropriate actions as required. It is therefore important we find someone who is results driven with a proven track record of positively affecting an organisation. Ultimately as General Manager, you will ensure profitability by managing output to achieve operational excellence.
The core skills of drive and energy combined with proven management ability will be key to success in this role. You will also be required to identify and implement improvements in key areas, and challenge processes for continual improvements.
