BHPSS Ltd is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to join our team at a gatehouse in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment and ensuring the efficient management of site access and visitor control.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing access for entry/exit at the gatehouse
- Monitoring CCTV systems and reporting any irregularities
- Logging vehicle and visitor movements accurately
- Conducting regular site checks and maintaining a visible security presence
- Completing all required documentation and incident reports in accordance with company procedures
- Communicating vehicle and contractor movements on site to the logistics and maintenance teams
Shift Requirements:
The shift pattern on site is flexible as this role supports the manager's role in the business and can therefore increase past contractual hours regularly. There are 36 hours as standard being offered, but this role regularly covers for up to 48 hours per week during busier periods. Contracted hours are 36 minimum, Monday / Friday / Sunday (06:00 - 18:00 12 Hours). Expectations for flexibility will involve Tue/Wed/Thur shifts being available for work in some circumstances for holidays, sickness and relief cover, prior approval will be sought.

- Current First Aid Certificate

- Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends as required
