Responsibilities:
- Answering and redirecting all phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Welcoming visitors to the site, signposting them to the relevant department.
- Receiving, sorting, and dispatching mail, and following up on any deliveries.
- Maintaining building security and ensuring all security procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Recording and logging all visitors on entry and exit of the building.
- Updating the digital welcome screen daily with course arrival information and welcome messages for expected visitors or guests.
- Ensuring all relevant Ministry of Defence (MOD) databases are kept up to date.
- Providing administrative support to the training course teams.
Qualifications:
- Previous front of house, receptionist, or administrative experience.
- Team player with the initiative to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in engaging customers and collaborating with other teams.
- Strong administrative skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Openness to learn different IT applications.
- Ability to work shift patterns and weekends as required.
