My Client, an independent Domiciliary Company has a vacancy for a full time permanent optometrist, Monday to Friday role (no weekends required). You will be visiting Nursing and Care Homes and patients’ in their own homes within Newcastle upon Tyne, and surrounding areas, carrying out a full clinical test; you must possess excellent clinical skills, have a sympathetic approach and empathy as most patients are elderly and infirm and some suffer from dementia.
You will be always assisted by an experienced Optical Assistant or Qualified Dispensing Optician, who will also drive you to the venues. They’re offering a very competitive salary plus bonus.
