Duties and responsibilities related to the Front Office Duty Manager role
- Oversee daily front office operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Supervise all Front Office operations during your shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, support, and train team members including Supervisors, Hosts, and Guest Service Agents.
- Coordinate room allocations and arrivals based on guest preferences, status, and group needs.
- Monitor guest accounts, credit limits, and open folios for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Take charge in emergency situations, ensuring guest and staff safety in line with Health & Safety protocols.
- Support team development through feedback, coaching, and regular performance check ins.
- Contribute to achieving departmental goals, including upselling, enrolments, and guest satisfaction KPIs.
- Support the Night Team with occasional overnight shift coverage during holidays, absences, or operational requirements.
About you
You're a confident and service driven professional with experience in Front Office leadership, ideally within a hotel environment. You have a strong working knowledge of front desk systems, excellent communication skills, and a calm, hands on approach to problem solving.
