Overview
The Forklift Driver/Labourer position involves operating the forklift to move and manage materials, as well as performing general labouring tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the flexibility to take on a variety of physical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and equipment
- Load and unload trucks
- Complete cargo summary tickets
- Tag units on departure and return
- Assist with general labouring duties including loading/unloading, site clean-up, and manual handling
- Support warehouse and yard operations as needed
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Requirements
- Valid forklift licence B3
- Preferred: Clean full UK driving licence
