About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer within the construction supply sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver / Yard Worker to join a busy, modern production environment where reliability, safety, and teamwork are highly valued. This role is key to ensuring the efficient movement, handling, and storage of materials across site, supporting both warehouse and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload deliveries accurately, ensuring no damage to goods
  • Transport materials between yard, warehouse, and production areas
  • Carry out routine checks on equipment and report any defects promptly
  • Ensure all stock is handled, labelled, and stored correctly
  • Support production and warehouse teams as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Follow site procedures and company standards at all times
  • Assist with general yard and warehouse duties when needed

About You

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
