Cambio Marcia Osteria Italiana is looking for new members of our front of house team, with experience working in a dynamic, similar environment, with an eye for detail and care for guests' experience, and a positive attitude. We are looking for a supervisor, and/or waiter or waitress.

About us: Cambio Marcia is an independent Italian Osteria in central Guildford, which serves authentic Italian food and wine with a focus on Ligurian, Northern Italian cuisine. Cambio Marcia opened in February 2023 and is seeking to grow its small team as the business continues to evolve. With an intimate space, this supports ensuring high standards of service and a personal guest experience, which we pride ourselves on.

Duties:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take guest orders in a timely way, with personal recommendations supported by knowledge of our drinks and food menus
  • Use the till to input orders
  • Making and serving hot drinks
  • Table maintenance
  • Serve food promptly and accurately
  • Occasional preparation of and serving of a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine
  • Communicate with the team during service to support guest experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and restaurant areas
  • Handle and process payments accurately
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for guests
  • Commitment to exceed guests' expectations
