Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of refugee families, providing ongoing, holistic support with housing, welfare, financial, and social needs.
- Conduct pre-arrival and arrival arrangements, ensuring families are prepared and supported during relocation.
- Support access to services such as benefits, healthcare, education, and housing, including completing applications and paperwork.
- Act as a key point of contact for vulnerable individuals, building trusted relationships over time.
- Liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies to coordinate support packages for service users.
- Use interpreters and translation services where required.
- Maintain accurate case records, reports, and monitoring data in line with GDPR and service requirements.
- Provide information and guidance to support integration into UK society and transition into independent living.
- Attend multi-agency meetings and work closely with partner organisations.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation, policies, and service changes.
