Hourly commitment: At least 24 hours per year. Support the work of St John Ambulance in your community by volunteering as a Community Volunteer. This exciting new role is designed to revamp how volunteering looks in the modern world; it is flexible, innovative and open for all. You will help keep our communities safe and resilient by choosing from a wide selection of activities, including:
- Fundraising
- Talks and demonstrations
- Supporting events
- Volunteer welfare
- Social media
- Administrative support
Your involvement will help grow our membership and fundraising base and spread the message that First Aid Saves Lives. Volunteer when it works for you - you can give as much time as you like, or as little as 24 hours across a year, whenever it suits you. It's perfect for busy lives, changing schedules, or anyone seeking a low commitment involvement. The Community Volunteer provides an easy way to stay connected and contribute meaningfully to your local community.

Once we have completed your selection and screening for this role, we will provide you with an induction, training and a supportive environment while you volunteer with us. We are recruiting Community Volunteers in each of our three Networks: Hull, East Riding and South Humber.
