Role Overview
Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Leicester area. The geographical patch to be covered is the LE / CV21, CV22, CV23 postcode area. You will work with everything from small pallet trucks through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks. Your responsibilities include finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults, and undertaking preventive maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, hydraulics.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification – not essential.
- IT literacy and ability to use latest technology for accurate record keeping and order placement.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication skills to liaise with customers and internal colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Positive and can-do attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role.
- Desire to be a Linde brand ambassador.
Responsibilities
