The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) is seeking a finance-focused Governor to strengthen its Board and support its continued growth following its Outstanding Ofsted rating in January 2025. With 15,000+ learners, strong employer partnerships, and a vital role in driving skills and opportunity across Cornwall and Devon, it’s an exciting time to join the Board and make a meaningful impact on local communities.
The Board is seeking a volunteer with senior leadership experience, such as a CFO, Finance Director, or similar role. They should bring strong financial and strategic insight, along with confidence in board-level decision-making and governance. A recognised accounting qualification is desirable but not essential. Experience in education or governance is welcome but not essential; most important is a passion for public service, inclusion, and improving opportunities for learners.
