IFG is a fast-growing education catering company with four brands: Cucina, Innovate, Hutchison & Chapter One. We are looking for a Cook Manager to work at Lowes Wong Junior School, Southwell, NG23.

Working days: Monday to Friday.

Shifts & Working hours: 7am‑2.30pm (35 hours per week).

Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days).

Responsibilities:

  • Cook and prepare a variety of dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients at volume.
  • Manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to health & safety and food hygiene standards.
  • Plan and oversee daily menus, rota, and stock control.
  • Liaise directly with onsite clients and kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced Cook or Chef Manager with strong people‑management skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver high‑quality food at a volume level.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety regulations and staffing procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
