The team advises clients across the North West on a broad range of complex and sensitive family matters. The practice has an excellent reputation in the market and is recognised in the Legal 500. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Partners and gain exposure to a varied caseload of high-quality work, including high-net-worth divorce and financial remedy matters, private children work, cohabitation disputes, and nuptial agreements.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise clients on a broad range of family and matrimonial matters, including divorce, financial remedies, private children matters, cohabitation disputes, and nuptial agreements.
  • Manage complex and sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy.
  • Conduct advocacy and attend court hearings where required.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across a varied client base.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers and Partners on high-quality matters.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
  • Assist with mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 6+ PQE with strong experience across family and matrimonial law.
  • Proven experience handling complex divorce, financial remedy, and private Children Act matters.
  • Advocacy experience.
  • Excellent technical and commercial awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach to business development.
  • Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress within a growing team.
