The client is a renowned and leading business that designs, fabricates, and manufactures high‑quality components for defence, automotive, rail, and aerospace industries. We are recruiting a Fabrications Manager for operations in Pershore.
Job Details
- Working Hours: Days – 7.45 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday; Friday 7.45 am to 1 pm.
- Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all welding and fabrication activities within the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with Business Management Systems.
- Maintain full record traceability through effective application of management systems.
- Develop, qualify and maintain welding procedure specifications (WPS) and welding procedure qualification records (WPQR).
- Support the technical review and production planning process from a welding perspective.
- Ensure all WPS, WPQR and other documentation are controlled and accessible.
- Maintain welding teams competency and deployment of skills.
- Co‑ordinate pre, interim and post‑weld inspection activities.
- Conduct routine safety, environmental (5S) and compliance inspections.
- Lead and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a similar role within a fabrication/welding environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO3834, EN15085.
- Experience in implementation of welding procedures aligned to EN15085 / ISO3834.
- Strong quality focus.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Hold a CSWIP 3.1 – National Accreditation of Welding Inspector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DIN EN ISO14731.
- An engineering degree or an HNC (or higher in Fabrication & Welding or a related discipline).
The role is based in Pershore and is commutable from Evesham, Worcester, Tewkesbury, Stratford upon Avon.
