Triple Star Fire and Security Limited is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join our growing team. Due to continued business growth and the ongoing trust placed in us by our clients, we are expanding our installation capability across a wide range of projects. This role is ideal for a high quality installation engineer who takes pride in workmanship, understands compliance requirements, and can deliver installations to the highest professional standards.

Role Overview

As an Experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire detection and alarm systems across commercial, industrial and residential environments. You will work independently and as part of a wider project team, delivering installations that meet BS 5839 1 and company requirements, while maintaining clear communication with project managers, site teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional)
  • Carry out first and second fix installation works to a high standard
  • Install containment, cabling, devices, panels and associated equipment
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications and system designs
  • Ensure all installations comply with BS 5839 1 and relevant regulations
  • Carry out installation testing and support commissioning where required
  • Complete installation records and handover documentation accurately
  • Maintain professional conduct on client sites
  • Work safely and in accordance with company health & safety policies

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience installing fire alarm systems
  • Strong working knowledge of BS 5839 1 installation requirements
  • Experience with leading manufacturers, including: Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, Notifier, Apollo, Hochiki
  • Ability to work independently and deliver installations to programme
  • High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills when dealing with clients and site personnel
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
