Multi Site Children's Homes and Supported Accommodation – Maintenance Manager

Purpose of the Position

Central and Southern are committed to ensuring that children and young people are effectively safeguarded in all the services we provide. Safeguarding and child protection must always be the highest priority and at the forefront of everything we do.

The Maintenance Manager plays a key role in ensuring that all C & S homes and facilities, including ensuring the children's residential homes, are safe, compliant, and well maintained. The role involves overseeing day to day maintenance operations, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and supporting external contracts where needed to deliver effective and timely repairs. This position is integral to creating a nurturing environment that upholds our BRIGHT values: Belonging, Respect, Impact, Growth, Happiness, and Trust - ensuring our homes remain welcoming, functional, and safe for our children and our staff members.

Location

Exeter based but with travel to Crediton and Bodmin

Working Hours

Full Time 40hrs week. Typical working week Monday to Friday with occasional weekends and call outs. You must be eligible to work full time in the UK. Hold a full UK driving licence.

  • Maintaining properties
  • Being responsible and trustworthy

  • Delivering and collecting goods
  • Accessing the maintenance tracker and selecting jobs based on importance and updating the tracker once complete (Basic IT capabilities)

Additional Information

To work as an integrated part of the team. Additional Training relevant to the role will be provided.
