Our client is building something ambitious - a fast-growing, globally focused platform operating at the intersection of data centres, infrastructure and AI‑driven technology. With expansion plans spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US, they're investing heavily in building a best‑in‑class leadership team to support that growth. This role is a first hire in the UK, created to establish a strong talent acquisition presence on the ground. It’s a critical position that will shape how senior talent is identified, engaged and brought into the business globally.

About the role

This isn’t your typical TA leadership role. Instead, it’s a hands‑on, high‑impact position focused on executive hiring and strategic talent mapping. You’ll operate as a senior individual contributor, working closely with global leadership to deliver key hires that directly influence business growth. You’ll be leading complex, international searches and helping the business understand where the best talent sits across the market, often in regions where there’s little or no existing footprint.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead executive hiring across Director, VP, SVP, GM and Board‑level roles
  • Partner directly with senior stakeholders, including C suite and global leadership
  • Build and deliver detailed market maps across data centre and infrastructure sectors
  • Identify key talent pools, competitor landscapes and target organisations
  • Support hiring across the full data centre lifecycle (development, construction, operations)
  • Drive a direct sourcing approach, reducing reliance on agencies
  • Engage and convert high quality, passive candidates in competitive global markets
  • Deliver hires across multiple regions including Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the US
  • Provide strategic insight and recommendations on hiring approaches and talent availability

About you

You’re likely someone who thrives in complexity and enjoys operating at a senior level without a large team around you. You’re confident working directly with senior stakeholders and know how to navigate global hiring challenges. This role would suit someone from an executive search background who’s ready to step into a more embedded, strategic position – or someone already operating in‑house at a similar level.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience delivering senior or executive‑level hires (Director through to GM/Board)
  • Background in executive search or specialist recruitment, ideally within infrastructure related sectors
  • Exposure to industries such as data centres, construction, or the built environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex, global search mandates
  • Advanced market mapping and research skills
  • Confidence engaging with C suite and senior leaders
  • A strategic, insight‑driven approach to talent acquisition
  • Ability to work autonomously in a lean, high performance environment
  • A proactive, hands‑on mindset with a focus on quality and delivery
