The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

The Portsmouth Academy requires an Exam Invigilator to support busy exam periods. Your presence will maintain exam integrity in an environment that enables students to perform at their best. You will assist with setting up exam venues, checking examination packs, assisting candidates and actively invigilating during examinations. You must check attendance, record relevant details, and communicate both written and verbal skills are essential. Employment is offered on a casual basis. Hours vary between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. Exam sessions can last all day or be part of the day. A training session will be provided.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and firmly, without being confrontational.
  • Previous experience working with secondary school age children is an advantage, as is any previous supervision experience.
  • Confidentiality inside and outside the workplace is vital, as is the ability to support Academy ethos and vision in the wider community.
