This happy and supportive nursery in Epsom is currently looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join the friendly and dedicated team of staff!
Prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and a Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Early Years Practitioner. Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's early learning and development is important for this role, as you are playing a key role in preparing young children for their future, and supporting their growth and development during their most formative years.
As an Early Years Practitioner, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Planning and delivering play based learning activities and exploration based on the EYFS curriculum that promote children's learning and development
- Creating an environment that is stimulating, supportive and safe, and that enables children to grow and learn at their own pace
- Allowing for and encouraging child led learning and play
- Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
- Assisting with the development of early maths skills
- Establishing positive relationships with children and their families
