Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across Essex.
- Visit claimants’ properties to assess damage, discuss settlement options, and gather evidence.
- Coordinate visits from contractors and negotiate contracts.
- Compile comprehensive reports and settle claims in accordance with policy terms.
- Balance time between office and home-based work.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full UK driving licence, essential for travel by car.
- Basic knowledge of home insurance policies and domestic property insurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and resourcefulness.
- Effective time management skills, able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple claims concurrently.
- Knowledge of Apple software such as iPads, or other tablets is helpful but not essential.
