BDO – a leading accountancy and business advisory firm – seeks a Transaction Taxes Director based in the Thames Valley. The role involves leading a range of transaction tax due diligence and structuring work for private equity houses and acquisitive corporates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tax due diligence and tax structuring projects, working closely with VAT, employment tax specialists and Transaction Services.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts internally and externally to win work and cross‑sell.
  • Manage project risks, ensuring high‑quality delivery and a strong client experience.
  • Provide input into legal documents and forecast models.
  • Co‑ordinate coaching and development of junior staff.
  • Contribute to key transaction relationship development and wider strategy.
  • Identify and convert opportunities for expanding services to existing clients.

Qualifications

  • In‑depth, up‑to‑date knowledge of taxation with specialist expertise in complex transaction issues.
