Our client, a successful and well-regarded business in the packaging industry, is looking for an experienced and driven Managing Director to take the lead in shaping the company’s future. This pivotal role is for a hands‑on leader who thrives in an operational environment and understands the complexities of the packaging sector.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the business, ensuring that production, supply chain, and technical functions work seamlessly together.
  • Focus on efficiency, quality and continuous improvement; inspire teams to drive productivity and maintain the highest standards across the operation.
  • Create a culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation while maintaining open communication with the board and delivering on agreed business goals.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience within production and operations, preferably in the packaging industry.

  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, health and safety compliance, and operational challenges specific to packaging.
  • Prior senior leadership experience within the packaging sector.
