This is a critical role requiring a mix of traditional electronics expertise and modern networking knowledge. Additional training will be provided where necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair a diverse range of professional audio equipment, including mixers, amplifiers, microphones, audio networking products and speakers.
- Component-Level Work: Perform precision soldering and re-work on through hole and SMD boards (SOT-23, 1206, SOIC, and smaller).
- Technical Support: Provide high-level technical assistance to customers via phone and email.
- Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards of accuracy and efficiency for all repairs.
- Technology Updates: Stay current with evolving audio technologies and manufacturer-specific software.
- Electronics Expertise: Strong practical understanding of circuit diagrams and electronic components.
- Soldering Proficiency: Proven experience with fine-pitch SMD soldering and rework.
- Software & Networking: Strong proficiency in MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android. Experience with Dante networking and CRM software is highly desirable.
