Penny Trotman, a member of eNL's specialist Midlands and South West Private Practice team, is currently recruiting for an Employment Partner to be based in Birmingham to join a Top Tier international employment practice. This opening offers a unique opportunity to join a well-regarded practice with a solid reputation and a collaborative culture that encourages professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise on all aspects of employment law, including strategic employment law, major HR projects (outsourcing and restructuring), employment law compliance, executive severance, trade union and collective issues, employment contracts and policies.
  • Provide guidance on the full range of employment tribunal and High Court litigation, including team moves and enforcement of restrictive covenants.
  • Deliver advice to a diverse portfolio of private and public sector clients.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and support colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take ownership of work and demonstrate a proactive, business-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic credentials and a solid grounding in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and to solve complex business challenges.
  • Business and commercial acumen with experience in managing client portfolios.
  • Practical, sound legal advice and a client-focused approach.
