About the Role
Are you passionate about building strong relationships with employers and creating meaningful work experience opportunities for learners? We're looking for a proactive and driven Employer Engagement Officer to join our Apprenticeships & Business Development team. In this role, you'll work collaboratively across curriculum areas to ensure learners access high quality work placements that support their development and career aspirations. You'll also play a key role in developing employer partnerships aligned with the strategic goals of the College and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor work experience placements, ensuring learners meet their hours targets.
- Conduct health & safety risk assessments for placement sites.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to identify new opportunities.
- Provide regular progress reports and performance data to the Business Development Manager.
- Collaborate with Progress Coaches, Course Leaders and Curriculum Managers to support learner success.
- Attend networking events and promote the College's services.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in sales, recruitment or business development.
- Proven track record of achieving KPIs and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume workload and meet deadlines.
- A clean driving licence and access to a car.
