Progress Lifeline provides a 24/7 emergency response service, supporting over 65,000 customers to live safely at home. We're recruiting Emergency Home Responders in Salford for flexible, meaningful work alongside studies.
Ideal for Students: Students in Paramedic, Nursing, Health & Social Care or Public Services.

The role:
- Respond to emergency alarm calls in your local area
- Assess situations and reassure customers
- Assist customers after non-injury falls using specialist equipment
- Work independently, supported by the Control Centre
Full training is provided, and no previous care experience is required.

- First Aid
- Moving & handling
- Use of lifting equipment
- Lone working safety
What you'll need:
- Be based in the Salford area and respond to calls across the wider local Lifeline service area
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Calm, reliable and compassionate approach
- Willingness to work night / on-call shifts
Pay, leave & benefits (summary):
- £26.22 paid for each on-call standby shift
- £18.90 per callout (up to 90 minutes)
- £12.97 per hour for callouts over 90 minutes
- Mileage reimbursement for all journeys
- Annual leave linked to rota pattern, plus pro-rated bank holidays
- A day's leave for your birthday
- Pension with matched contributions up to 7.5%
- Uniform and full training provided
