We are recruiting an EMEA Health and Safety Programme Lead to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced and enthusiastic to lead global HSE projects and develop new programs to meet CBRE's global HSE strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key contact for EMEA business as extension to account HSE teams.
  • Align platform HSE with global programs, initiatives, standards and training across GWS Enterprise Accounts, ensuring consistency while allowing flexibility for local regulatory, cultural, or infrastructure differences.
  • Facilitate stakeholder collaboration, including account FM Operation professionals globally.
  • Work closely with regional director and technical teams ensuring HSE is embedded in daily business culture.
  • Facilitate sharing of information within HSE across lines of business to create opportunities and synergies and develop and promote best management practices and programs across the divisions.
  • Collaborate with all service lines in identifying, developing and implementing cross functional solutions.
  • Provide input into GWS EA strategic plan.
  • Develop and implement initiatives designed to mitigate risk, promote employee safety, and drive culture change across the organization.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training related to high risk activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a 4 year college or university in a technical area of health, safety, and environment or equivalent work experience.
  • Work experience in HSE and technical FM a must.
  • Professional background with program management.
  • Strong leadership, staff management, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong management, interpersonal, and influencing skills at all levels from site to boardroom.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office suite.
  • International work experience a plus.
  • Clear understanding and articulation of Safety Management Systems - leadership commitment, accountability, effective communication, auditing, and performance metrics.
  • Extensive working knowledge of EMEA occupational health and safety legislation.
  • Proven coaching and teaching abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict, communicate ideas, and be an active listener.
  • Strong trend and data analytical skills to drive program and process changes.
  • Proven problem solving skills with the ability to visualize and deliver creative solutions.
