We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Registered Nurse - Nights at Eastbourne Gardens Care Home in Eastbourne.
Responsibilities
- Act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required.
- Undertake nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
- Advise families and GPs of any changes in condition, keeping them informed and involved in care decisions.
- Deploy and supervise staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the duty period.
- Provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post basic studies or qualification.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
- Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- Disclosure and Barring Service check (cost met by the employer).
