At Applepips Day Nursery Ltd, you'll be joining a caring, close-knit team dedicated to providing the best for our children through child-led learning and meaningful interactions. We are a friendly and inclusive team with two nurseries in Rustington, caring for children aged 6 months to five years. Both settings are open Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00 (excluding bank holidays), for 50 weeks each year with a Christmas closure period. We are committed to supporting the growth and well-being of every team member and welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.

Positions available:

  • 2x Full-time / 38 hours per week over 4 days (day off to be agreed)
  • 1x Part-time / 19 hours per week over 2 days

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Childcare (required)
  • Flexible across the hours of 08:00 - 18:00
  • All year round

Duties include:

  • Working as part of a small, supportive team
  • Getting to know the children through child-led interaction
  • Observing and tracking children's progress
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and families
  • Using online learning journals (previous experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided)
