JR PAT Testing is a fast growing PAT and compliance company based in Eastbourne. We are looking for experienced PAT Engineers who have their own insurance and calibrated testing equipment to work as independent contractors. The role offers flexible hours, allowing part time or full time work, and is suitable for those who can commute to Eastbourne or the surrounding areas.

Education Level: City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or an equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Travel to various sites (hospitals, retail outlets, offices, industrial premises) and set up testing equipment.
- Conduct PAT tests on appliances such as microwaves, kettles, computers, and other electrical equipment, verifying their safety compliance.
- Record test results in a dedicated PAT test report book or electronic system.
- Provide completion certificates, checklists, and completed paperwork to employers and clients.
- Communicate findings to site users, offering advice on replacement or repair where necessary.
- Maintain all testing instruments and related tools in good working order, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
- Remain organised and accurate, managing multiple appointments throughout the day.
