De Vere Horsley Estate has 180 bedrooms, 51 meeting and event spaces, a restaurant, three bars, gym and swimming pool. It offers a charming lakeside mansion house, Horsley Towers and the equally impressive Horsley Place all set within 75 acres of beautiful Surrey parkland. We are looking for a Full Time Night Porter to join our Hotel team at De Vere Horsley Estate in East Horsley.

Responsibilities:
  • Look after guests and the hotel between 10.30pm and 7am, 5 nights out of 7 each week.
  • Carry out regular checks and walk rounds of all areas of the building, ensuring standards of cleanliness, safety and security are maintained.
  • Assist with setting up conference meeting rooms and coffee stations.
  • Work on duty with at least one other member of the nights team; events team often on site until early morning when weddings or events take place.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Experience working during night hours that fits your lifestyle.
  • Hospitality or customer service experience.
  • Enjoy talking to people and delivering high standards of service.
  • Confidence working at night in a large hotel with one other colleague, taking responsibility for guests’ health & safety.
