Exciting opportunity to join the Millennium Seed Bank Partnership team at Wakehurst. The role supports the delivery of the Weston Global Tree Seed Bank - Unlocked and will lead on planning, management, and delivery of a scientific conference entitled 'The Millennium Seed Bank Partnership's Seed Science, Conservation and Restoration Conference' in November 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, management and delivery of the seed science conference.
  • Co-ordinate with partners and teams across Kew, Wakehurst, London and Madagascar.
  • Manage large quantities of data and multiple tasks, ensuring attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to MSc level or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering scientific conferences or similar large scale events.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, with strong organisational and data management skills.

Work arrangements:

Based at Wakehurst with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

Salary and benefits:

£39,243 per annum (pro rata) Band D.
