We have an exciting opportunity for a Landfill Gas Technician to join our team in the Dunbar Area, working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday. Accountable to the Landfill Gas Resource Manager, you will undertake the safe and effective monitoring and balancing of gas collection systems (GCS) in order to optimize Valencia's landfill gas resource for regulatory compliance and for commercial benefit through power generation.
What are we looking for?
- An understanding of the operation and basic maintenance of landfill gas power generation and control equipment.
- The ability to solve problems and work autonomously to deadlines, constantly juggling priorities.
- A good general level of education coupled with relevant experience in an associated discipline.
- Good written and verbal skills, with basic IT literacy.
- Experience of working in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
