This role is based within our civils frameworks division which delivers projects for Northumbrian Water Group (NWG). Through dedicated delivery teams we deliver planned rehabilitation work and capital projects worth up to £5 million, as well as a 24/7 service 365 days per year for trenchless and traditional sewer repairs, including manhole replacement, pipework rehabilitation and reactive emergency responses.

About the role:

  • Carry out general construction work, ensuring it meets the client's expectations, and Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.
  • Base location is Bowburn, but site location will be in the Cramlington area.

What we will expect from you:

  • Installation of drains and sewers
  • Laying of ducts
  • Concreting foundations and floor slabs
  • Excavation for structures including piling works
  • Laying kerbs
  • Flags and block paving
  • Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and on time
  • Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
